Q: Do I need prior experience with breathwork?
A: Nope! This is designed for everyone—whether you’re a complete newbie or a seasoned breather. We’ll guide you every step of the way.
Q: What happens during the session?
A: You’ll be guided through a sound journey with intentional breathing patterns, sound frequencies, and visualizations. You might feel emotions rise, memories surface, or simply deep relaxation—it’s all part of the process.
Q: Is this physically intense?
A: Not at all. While the breathwork may feel active at times, you’re in full control and can take breaks if needed.
Q: What if I get emotional?
A: That’s normal and totally welcome. This is a safe space to release and process whatever comes up.
Q: How long does the session last?
A: The journey itself is about 1.5 hours, with time for setup, closing, and reflections.
Q: Can I do this if I have medical conditions?
A: Breathwork is generally safe, but if you have any serious medical concerns (e.g., heart conditions, high blood pressure, or pregnancy), please consult your doctor and let the facilitator know in advance.
What to Bring/ Preparation:
Hydration: Drink plenty of water throughout the day to support energy flow and emotional release.
Food: Avoid eating heavy meals 1-2 hours prior to the session; light snacks are okay.
Clothing: Dress in loose, comfortable layers to maintain flexibility and relaxation. We have cool cement floors, socks/slippers are a good idea.
Comfort: We have 10 cozy beds with blankets and pillows for support. You are also welcome to bring your own blankets/bolsters if you prefer.
Bring: A sealed water bottle for hydration and a journal and pen for post-session reflections.
Timing: Arrive 15-20 minutes early to check in, settle into your space, and prepare for the journey.
